Some tips to help you prepare for your service date:
 

  • If you are having trouble accessing the internet, call your internet service provider and have them check your lines before scheduling service.  Sometimes they can make a "quick fix" for you that's usually free.  If you (or a neighbor) has a wireless network, you should know that 2.4GHz cordless phones frequently cause interference.  In many cases, the only way to remedy this is by using a different cordless phone.

     
  • Make sure you have the original disks that came with the computer.  If the technician needs to reload software, they will come in handy and can save you a significant added expense - otherwise you may need to repurchase programs.
